Our client has an outstanding opportunity for an Learning Business Partner  to work for a leading global professional services firm headquartered in the USA.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to bring creativity and proactivity to drive a new L&D strategy at the Firm. You will play a key role in collaborating with the HRD, Learning/HR Business Partners and the business leaders, to take joint responsibility for all aspects of the employee/partner ongoing learning experience.

You will have a global mindset, embrace technology and ensure a consistent high-level service delivery.   

 Skills and attributes for success 

• Co-develop the L&D strategy

• Understand business need, collaborate with the business to identify and agree learning needs and priorities aligned to business requirements and intelligence 

• Responsible for the evaluation of programmes (including ROI and continuous improvement), control of budgetary spend as agreed and manage and update all learning materials

• Contribute to the selection and management of external suppliers, such as LMS, trainers and coaches

• Drive content development, put technology on the learning agenda

• Active use of data analytics

• Facilitator, curator of knowledge and learning resources

• Ability to present information using a variety of techniques such as face to face, online classroom, role-playing, simulation, group dynamics, team exercises, group discussions, videos, lectures and webinars

• Identify and design new and different interventions, approaches and channels to enable effective learning and development across the business

• Partner with the HRD, HR Business Partners and the Business Leaders to agree priority capability gaps and create bespoke solutions where applicable

• Manage stakeholders effectively; demonstrate strong business partner skills and be responsible and/or accountable for all agreed deliverables

• Monitor and evaluate business impact of all learning interventions/solutions, taking action as necessary

• Coaching and mentoring

• E-learning/training delivery

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Experience as a learning business partner or equivalent, working within the HR function, of a global professional services firm 

• Experience in the design, delivery and management of learning interventions

• Excellent commercial knowledge & understanding

• Experience in achieving buy-in from stakeholders at all levels

• Managing learning suppliers

• Stakeholder management and Leadership experience

• Facilitation/coaching/mentoring

• Proven implementation of blended learning, including the use of digital learning in a learning intervention

• Performance and talent consulting/management

• Planning and project management

• Learning/management strategy

• Confident in using/implementing digital learning solutions to transform Learning and Development

• Digital thinker

• Ability to leverage learning optimism

• Confident in using/implementing digital learning solutions to transform Learning and Development

• Infectious curiosity for finding new and creative solutions to business problems

• Ability to support a rapidly changing business/consumer world with an ability to constantly learn, unlearn and re-learn as appropriate

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent 

• Relevant qualification (CIPD or similar)

• MBTI/SDI or other psychometric accreditations preferable

• German, French or Spanish fluency would be a bonus
