Job Details
The role is combination of operational strategy and administration thus requiring someone who is comfortable with full responsibility for all HR processes and administration as well as strategic conversations

Description
Key responsibilities
- HR strategy
- Aligning business objectives with people strategy
- Strong stakeholder engagement with management team and suppliers
- Attraction and selection
- Resource planning and headcount planning
- Full responsibility for recruitment (job descriptions, interview guides, recruitment with agencies, LinkedIn, etc, interviews, job offers, etc)
- Administration
- Onboarding in terms of Plexal's ways of working, values, building an understanding of structure and roles; and offboarding
- HR compliance - payroll (outsourced), right to work in the UK, health and safety, Hibob (HR CRM)
- Bi weekly checkins throughout probation
- Employee benefits (outsourced)
- Policy creation, implementation and training
- Changes and transfers
- Employee engagement
- Performance cycles, reviews, training, etc
- Training - coordination and guidance of technical and non-technical training and budget management
- Employee recognition - facilitating the process on a quarterly process
- Reward - reviews, benchmarking and some administration
- Talent management and succession planning
- Employee relations - legal process and issues
- Specific projects
- Administer Plexal's apprenticeship programmes - both internal and for the membership
- Facilitate/coordinate the internship programme for Plexal's members
Profile
Skills and experience
- Proven HR generalist experience of 3-5 years is expected across all spheres listed in the job responsbilities
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills
- Experience in supporting and developing managers through change
- Be agile to navigate the pace and change of a start up and future growth
Behavioural skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy
- Self motivated - although this role falls under the COO's mandate, there is no one else in HR so the incumbent should be comfortable working on their own and have full accountability for their work deliverables
- Upbeat and positive person who fits in well with the team
- Must be able to challenge and question processes and ideas in constructive manner
Job Offer
