Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 pa

Location: Middlesex/West London

My client are looking for a Resourcing and Operations Manager with experience working in a strategic resourcing and operational planning capacity of a large workforce. This role is accountable for managing rosters for circa 16,000 customer-focussed employees, so you must be a strong decision maker who can balance the requirements of different stake holders while adhering to and following a strong operational plan.

You will have worked in a large complex organisation and have experience managing a large team. Good people management experience is crucial for this role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering the strategy for the employees scheduling while adjusting to evolving work practices
  • Managing the scheduling team and ensuring they are compliant with industrial and legal requirements
  • Acting as a proactive role model, using best practice and offering training when necessary
  • Driving strategic change with the resource planning
  • Leading a culture of excellence when it comes to customer service for the employees and through to the scheduling team
  • Overseeing of resourcing across all business units
  • Transparent decision making
  • Active collaboration with stakeholders
  • Support the Resourcing Planning Senior Manager
  • Be part of the out of hours roster to assist the operational teams
