Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 pa
Location: Middlesex/West London
My client are looking for a Resourcing and Operations Manager with experience working in a strategic resourcing and operational planning capacity of a large workforce. This role is accountable for managing rosters for circa 16,000 customer-focussed employees, so you must be a strong decision maker who can balance the requirements of different stake holders while adhering to and following a strong operational plan.
You will have worked in a large complex organisation and have experience managing a large team. Good people management experience is crucial for this role.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering the strategy for the employees scheduling while adjusting to evolving work practices
- Managing the scheduling team and ensuring they are compliant with industrial and legal requirements
- Acting as a proactive role model, using best practice and offering training when necessary
- Driving strategic change with the resource planning
- Leading a culture of excellence when it comes to customer service for the employees and through to the scheduling team
- Overseeing of resourcing across all business units
- Transparent decision making
- Active collaboration with stakeholders
- Support the Resourcing Planning Senior Manager
- Be part of the out of hours roster to assist the operational teams
You must have the following experience:
- Excellent people management skills
- Exceptionally organised with the ability to multi-task and change direction at short notice
- A strategic and forward-thinking attitude

- Strong communication skills across all levels
- Ability to influence / handle conflict / build and maintain working relationships
