Macmillan Davies are supporting their global client in their search for a HR Advisor to offer generalist HR activity to a critical business division based out of their Manchester hub.
In this newly created role your purpose will be to provide timely and proactive first line support for the wide range of HR enquiries and processing requirements, acting in line with defined best practice.

The HR Advisor is a varied and busy role that requires flexibility to manage coordination tasks and advisory duties. This is a standalone role and will provide front line support to employees and managers on all HR related queries. You will be responsible for:
*Advising managers and employees on disciplinary, grievances and performance management
*Supporting and coaching managers on dealing with people issues, addressing under performance and supporting our high performing talent
*Proactively supporting managers to deal with performance related issues within their teams
*Training - Induction, implementing an annual training offering, including delivery of internal content that supports our business strategy
*Providing the business with useful people data management and analytic information
*Assist with the annual reward process including Bonus and Salary Review exercises
*Ensuring a robust on boarding process is followed as well as delivering induction training working with the L&D team on content
*Help managers to support employees in creating career plans
*End to end management of the full employee life cycle from recruitment, inductions, probation, annual performance reviews, employee questions and queries and the exit process including exit interviews and analysis.
*Actively manage the recruitment process working with the recruiting managers to ensure briefs are filled quickly and with the strongest available candidates.

The ideal candidate will arrive ideally with:
*Experience working as a HR Advisor in a fast paced ever changing environment
*Sound generalist HR knowledge and experience working in a generalist role
*Self-motivated with great communication and stakeholder management
*Experience of having full ownership of tasks and activities.
*Experience working and managing multiple stakeholders at different levels
*Experience delivering training would be desirable
*Ability to coach and support managers
*A commitment to a 12 month fixed term contract
