HR Business Adviser

6 month Interim HR Advisor role for a Government organisation in London. £185 - £208 per day, starting ASAP.

Your new company
You will be working as an HR Business Advisor, on a 6 month interim basis for a Government organisation in Central London. The role is full time and will pay £185 per day via PAYE or £208 per day via Umbrella Company. Due to urgent projects, the role will start ASAP so candidates must be available immediately or on 1 week's notice as a maximum.

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner within a team of 12, you will manage a client group of circa 1000 employees, within a Professional Services directorate (HR, Finance, Commercial, Marketing etc). There are a number of redundancy programmes across the organisation currently, therefore this role will advise and support the business in relation to organisational change.
Duties will include producing voluntary severance and redundancy quotes, attending Trade Union meetings and take notes as required, arrange assessment and selection packs for interviews and upload JDs to assist with redeployment, acting as a main point of contact for all voluntary severance queries, alongside monitoring the HR inbox and responding to queries on change and redundancies.
It is essential that candidates have experience of liaising with Trade Unions regarding organisational change within the public sector and have experience of producing and calculating voluntary severance and redundancy.

What you'll need to succeed
Due to the sensitive nature of the role, candidates must have high attention to detail and be highly competent on Excel, with the ability to make voluntary severance and redundancy calculations, alongside pulling reports together to help with assessment and selection regarding redeployment.
