JOB TYPE: Permanent and full time
HOURS: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday flexible on start and leave times
SALARY: £25,000
LOCATION: Wokingham

Ashley Kate currently have a Trainer (Learning and Development) opportunity available with one of our leading Care clients based near Wokingham, Berkshire. This opportunity is offered on a full time permanent basis.

Partnering with the Learning and Development department, Branch Manager and Operations Manager you will deliver and develop bespoke training packages in line with the wider people agenda. As this role sits within the Care industry the successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Care Act and other legislation applicable to delivering community care.

Duties include:

·You will be responsible for ensuring all community employees are trained in line with legislation, contractual agreements, Policy and Procedure and individual need.
·Support the Branch Manager to fulfil companywide training strategies at the company DCA office.
·Take the lead around the planning, implementation, delivery and associated support of all training
·Use a blended approach utilising E-learning, face to face, practical training and coaching methods
·Plan and coordinate all staff inductions and ensure they are compliant when joining the business
·Ensure all workers are fully qualified, compliant with National Minimum Standards, regulatory requirements and Policy and Procedure.
·Monitor the staff team for training compliance and to prompt the refreshing of all mandatory subjects and company requirement learning as and when required. Working in partnership with the coordinators to ensure scheduling of training time occurs.
·Work in partnership with external stakeholders to support staff to access local training and bespoke training based on individual's needs.
·Liaise with the National Learning and Development Department ensuring all companywide training programmes are in place

Candidate requirements:

·Applicants must have facilitated training within the Care sector
·Experience in a blended learning approach
·Fully computer literate
·Strong experience in delivering face to face training
·Strong ability to record, monitor, organise, communicate and facilitate training schedules to field based employees
·Applicants must be able to drive due to the role requirements and field based activities - the role is based out of Wokingham however some travel will be required.
