A HR generalist position in which you can oversee the HR function in your own division. This is a busy HR role, and will operate across multiple locations but your base location will be closest to your home.

Description

  • Use best practice to provide a sound HR service across the division
  • Pioneer HR initiatives for multiple sites
  • Maximise employee engagement and retention
  • Collate, analyse and evaluate data from appropriate sources
  • Support, improve and liaise with multiple distribution centres and the corporate functions, including finance and payroll
  • Develop human-centred shift patterns including flexible working models
  • Able to work with a large scale workforce providing support and building strong relationships

Profile

  • Experience creating strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Previous exposure to work force planning and organisational development
  • Up to date and in depth knowledge of UK employment and labour laws
  • A skilled negotiator and influencer with an understanding of the challenges a blue collar environment can provide
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies Six Sigma and Kaizen would be highly advantageous
  • CIPD Qualified preferred
  • Understanding of HR system PeopleSoft would be advantageous
