The role is for a 3-month period for an L&D Manager to complete a project on healthcare training across the company. The contract may extend after the initial 3-month period. We are looking for someone with projects experience, a healthcare background or knowledge of healthcare and L&D experience. Our healthcare client works with a number of different training providers and internal trainers and they would like someone to map out what training is currently being provided across the business and look at how they can make this more efficient.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will understand the organisation's goals to create an L&D strategy to fit them, acting as the first point of contact for all learning and development requirements and queries within the organisation. You will gain a full understating of each business area, working alongside business leaders to design effective training programmes, as well as being responsible for talent management processes.

About you

  • Happy to travel to sites as and when needed
  • Degree, CIPD or CTP qualified
  • Relevant experience of designing and delivering development solutions
  • Track record of management development and a variety of training and development techniques
  • Experience of cross organisational training needs analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident presenter and public speaker
  • Able to build great relationships with key stakeholders
  • Creative thinker with the ability to work on own initiative
