Busy role as Patient Care Co-ordinator working for a private healthcare provider, based in Edgbaston on 1 year fixed term contract

Description

A patient care co-ordinator is responsible for booking consultations procedures. You will respond to enquiries, both telephone and email, and manage a portfolio of patients from day one of their enquiry until the date of their procedure.

You will be expected to upsell services to customers on the back of your excellent customer service and efficiency. This is not a hard sell environment and there are no cold calls, all enquiries have called in initially.

You will be a professional from a telesales/customer service environment. You will be a hard-working, motivated candidate with a passion for delivering excellent service to our patients. To be successful in this role you must be empathetic, have an ability to engage with patients and display an in-depth knowledge of services.

Profile

The successful applicant: Patient Care Co-ordinator

  • Excellent customer service

  • Excellent listening and communication skills

  • Efficient management skills to manage a portfolio of patients

  • Good attention to detail in administrative duties

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external contacts

My client is looking for an excellent candidate with a positive 'can do' attitude. You will be motivated to be a top performer and take pride in your work and the relationships you develop which ultimately lead to patients choosing our service.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate; a medical background is not necessary. Candidates with excellent telesales and/or customer service background will be considered for the role.

Job Offer

Ongoing training and support from management is to be expected.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Minimum of 1 evening shift per week until 8pm
