HR Officer (Legal)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Officer/Coordinator with a strong solid permanent career history form the professional services sector, preferably law, to join our client on a full time permanent basis.

Supporting the Operations Manager in London, but working closely with the HR team in the US you will be responsible for the administration of the London HR functions and events.

Job Duties

• All transactional administration for c40 employees in London
• Liaise with associates and summer associates through events, conversations and exit interviews to have a pulse on associate and summer associate morale issues.
• Raise feedback and issues to the attention of the Director, the Managers and the London partners, as needed, and offers suggestions for improvement.
• Supports the London partners and Corporate Managing Partner on legal staff administration.
• Works with HR team in New York to identify and implement areas that need improvement.
• Support in conducting exit interviews with Associates and summer associates.
• Maintains, policies and conduct regular audits.
• Maintains knowledge of and implements Firm policies and procedures.
• Supports the Diversity & Inclusion Manager in New York on all aspects of foreign associate secondments in the London Office.
• Works closely with the London Human Resources & Operations Manager on all matters related to immigration and cost of living allowance
