Artis Recruitment are partnering with an exciting national business with the recruitment of a HR Business Partner, this is a permanent post paying - £45-51,000pa. Our client will consider both full time and part time applicants.

Reporting to - Head of HR for Solutions, Finance, Product & Engineering, IT & Legal
Base location - Canary Wharf, London with occasional travel

Key purpose of role
Working with the Head of HR the HR Business Partner will be responsible for a selection of the portfolio that covers the Solutions, Finance, Product & Engineering, IT, Legal & Work business functions. You will act as a critical friend, strategic partner and change agent alongside business function senior managers to actively drive the creation, development and implementation of the people dimensions of their business strategy.
You will also work closely with the other HR Business Partner who covers the other half of the portfolio to share best practice and where appropriate consistency across the portfolio.
Main responsibilities
*To build strong relationship with the business function senior managers, supporting them and acting as a critical friend.
*To work closely with senior managers for the business function in order to develop a people agenda that closely supports the overall aims of the organisation.
*Provide organisational development, change management expertise and a value-adding partnership to the business function.
*Diagnosis of critical issues affecting the business function, preventing or blocking them achieving their aims/strategic goals.
*Facilitating change and culture initiatives.
*Working with the Talent Centre of Excellence identify training needs within the business function, develop and deliver training solutions, particularly around management capability.
*Driving the talent agenda for the business area working closely with the Talent Centre of Excellence to develop and implement sustainable talent and succession plans.
*Working with the Resourcing team, provide sponsorship and drive the execution of a cohesive talent acquisition strategy that focuses on attracting, retaining and developing talent.
*Work with the Reward Centre of Excellent to review the compensation and benefits offering and ensuring it is fit for purpose across all areas.
*Represents the HR department positively within the wider business.

*Commercially savvy and able to manage multiple change programmes to drive down costs and to support the growth agenda.

*Proactive independent, highly motivated self-starter with an eye for detail
*Highly resilient and able to work at pace on multiple projects or change initiatives
*A strong communicator including facilitation and public speaking with excellent interpersonal skills.
*Substantial experience in HR through progressively more responsible positions covering all HR generalist HR areas.
*Ability to work as part of a wider HR team, with experience of working with Shared Services and Centres of Excellence.
*Experience of working with a dispersed workforce
*CIPD Level 7 or equivalent recognised qualification/ degree in related subject (or ability to demonstrate equivalent levels of functional knowledge)
