This HR Advisor role is an exciting opportunity! You will work as part of a small HR team and provide HR Generalist support. You will cross over with all employees and partners and the successful candidate will be looking to take the next step in their career path.

A well-known niche Legal firm based in London who specialise with a range of clients throughout the UK.

Description

Main duties and responsibilities of the HR Advisor for this Legal firm will be as follows:

  • Employee Relations - work with line managers to ensure optimum performance and conduct. You will be involved in participating in disciplinary investigations and/or disciplinary hearings either as a note-taker and/or as part of the decision making panel
  • Pay and Benefits - manage the the monthly payroll for all employees. Administration of the pensions scheme, assist with salary reviews and bonus awards on an annual basis
  • Learning & Development - manage relationships with external training providers and promotion of relevant courses
  • Project work - undertake project work for the department as and when required

Profile

The successful HR Advisor for this Legal firm will have the following essential skills:

  • Degree qualified or working towards or have achieved a CIPD level 5 or above
  • Minimum two years of having worked in an HR Admin/Assistant role
  • Knowledge of/involvement if Employee Relations issues
  • Must be a self-starter and able to think outside the box
  • A team player
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be interested in HR and the service it is able to provide

Job Offer

This HR Advisor role is a permanent opportunity, looking for an immediate start, based in London.

  • Competitive salary paying between £35,000 - £37,000, dependent on level of experience in a similar role
  • Hours of work: 9.00am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday
  • 25 days annual leave along with all the other usual benefits i.e private health care, dental cover, pensions, season ticket loan.
