As the HR Systems Partner - Workday you are responsible for ensuring the effective management of Workday throughout the UK. You will be tenacious in ensuring data integrity in the UK and passionate about bringing the benefits of Workday to our managers by understanding their needs and responding to this in terms of training and development. You will also develop the Workday Specialists in other European Countries to deliver and oversee the key initiatives.

Our client in Windsor is currently recruiting for a HR Systems Partner - Workday to join their team.

As the HR Systems Partner you are responsible for ensuring the effective management of Workday throughout the UK. You will be tenacious in ensuring data integrity across the UK and passionate about bringing the benefits of Workday to our managers by understanding their needs and responding to this in terms of training and development.

Key areas for the role will be:

  • Developing the Workday Specialists in other European Countries (currently Spain) to deliver and oversee the key initiatives for their countries.
  • Data integrity through training and audit, supporting the relevant HR teams to achieve maximum benefit
    Maintaining and developing business process in the UK.

You would be responsible for:

  • Provide leadership to the European HR Workday specialists in terms of delivery of global priorities and focus on data integrity at all times.
  • Champion the requirements within Europe to ensure they support both local and global road-maps for HR systems.
  • Provide development and support to European HR Workday Officers to enable their delivery of local and global priorities.
  • Provide continual oversight and audit of Workday key items such as job profiles and grades and supervisory organisations.
  • Act as the HR master data steward for Europe, ensuing data is structured, monitored and consistent across the group (where possible).
  • Assist and lead on creation of business processes, documentation and training.
  • Monitor the Workday inbox/tickets and be the primary contact for resolving issues and spotting trends.
  • Develop a UK training programme with tools, manuals and job aids to support.
  • Assist with system upgrades and co-ordinate testing twice per year.
  • Maintain security roles in the HRIS.
  • Build and Schedule reports as required for the UK business.

Profile

To apply for this HR Systems Partner - Workday role, your profile will closely match the following:

Experience and skills:

  • Ability to use or generate knowledge and problem solve issues.
  • Experience of working with and analysing data, establishing reporting regimes and suggesting adaptions to suit business needs.
  • High level of excel skill to support HR and Finance teams to get to the right data as easily as possible.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of the business and to speak with clarity about the data you manage.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • High quality written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in producing process documentation.
  • Experience in facilitating face-to-face training.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • In depth understanding of Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Report Writer, Security and Business Process framework (Talent & Performance, Absence, Advanced Compensation and Learning desirable).
  • Basic understanding of technical systems terminology.
  • Significant experience of working with HR data.

Other requirements for this role:

  • Ability to travel within Europe on occasions.
