OD Implementation Project Manager

Large public sector organisation in Central Bristol with a supportive culture.

Your new role
This organisation are currently redesigning the organisation and completing designs through September in a move into implementation. This involves writing job descriptions, evaluating jobs, carrying out mapping and matching of existing staff into new roles, filling vacant posts and ensuring appropriate engagement and consultation take place with staff. There are design leads within the business and an OD Board overseeing the project. There are currently 2 HR team members supporting the project.

This role is required to lead, manage and coordinate the implementation phase, providing advice and guidance to HR team members, communications team and providing regular updates to the Project Board. In this critical role, you will manage all stages and work to implement new organisation design - oversee JD creation/ job evaluation.

You will co-ordinate mapping, matching and interviewing, co-ordinate the filling of vacant posts, engage with communications team on all related communication.

You will also report regularly to the Project Board, develop and maintain project plans, report on project risks and budget, produce highlight and other reports. You will also have regular engagement and reporting to PMO.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have direct experience in similar roles and strong project management skills with robust process and methodology to deliver in a timely manner. You must have effective people skills to work in a change environment in sensitive matter as well the gravitas to work at a senior level.

Ideally you will have experience working in a civil service environment. Public sector and trade union experiences are essential.

Ideally you have CIPD or equivalent qualification with the ability to identify and understand people risks and issues.
