Morgan McKinley is working with a brilliant Financial Client looking to expand its global offering out of its London hub and as such are hiring a new HR Lead. The successful candidate will provide generalist HR service to all members of the international team to ensure London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, and Dublin requirements and procedures are met.

 

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources in the US, this role will be a hands on role and the main point of contact for most HR related matters for circa 70 international employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with the management team and provide advisory support and guidance around all human resource issues.
  • Work closely with management to create a productive team culture
  • Coach and advise business leaders while providing consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process from requisition approval through onboarding including manage and establish relationships with non-US search firms, employment contracts, references and background checks, right to work documents etc.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on headcount planning and workforce analysis
  • Manage employee relations matters including redundancy, dismissal and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain employee engagement programs including, but not limited to, wellness, diversity and inclusion, mentoring.
  • Oversee professional development/training requirements.
  • Liaison with Compliance to oversee the Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SMCR) in relation to HR: Processes and procedures for the management of Certified Staff, Fit & Proper Assessments and SMCR HR Management Information.

 

Personal Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • CIPD Qualification preferred.
  • 8 years in a Generalist HR manager role with a good understanding of HR related matters. Financial services/investment management experience a plus.
  • Understanding of GDPR and SMCR.
  • Experience of working in Private Equity or Investment Management
