Head of Payroll Governance EMEA & Americas £85k to £95k + Bonus/Benefits - London

A leading global bank seek an experienced "Payroll Professional" to become their Head of Payroll Governance EMEA & Americas.

Reporting into the Global Head this role will play a key part into the growth and quality of how operations run across the EMEA and Americas landscape. This will include Global Payroll Governance & Reporting Standards, Risk & Control Framework and Key Performance & Risk Indicators.

The purpose of the role:

Identify and escalate improvements within EMEA & Americas which are in line with the Global Payroll Strategy

Identify any operational & regulatory risk and put plans and processes in place frameworks to track thoroughly

Monitor KPIs and any potential development areas to drive consistency and professionalism in relation to pay delivery and output across EMEA & Americas

Build relationships with all Country Heads of Payroll to gain a thorough understanding of each country's payroll and to then make sure consistency across EMEA & Americas is understood and compliance (Risk & Control Frameworks)

Own the third-party vendor management cycle outright so that strong relationships are built and standards are set out from the get go

Implement a "Risk Awareness" culture across EMEA & Americas and put in place strong leadership and controls

To develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within HR, Reward, Tax and Finance Teams

This role is a key figure within the Global Payroll Leadership Team and will contribute to the development of the global payroll strategy and governance.
