Your new company
Our client is a commercial organisation based in Weybridge, Surrey. This is an interim role for approx 6 months with a view to extend.

Your new role
Working as part of the Mobility team to deliver global mobility within Long Term Assignees, Short Term Assignees, Permanent Transfers, Commuters in Europe, Russia and Turkey across multiple company entities with speed to meet business needs to drive organisational global business.
The current population under management is approx. 240.
Implementing necessary support to enhance cost effectiveness of investment through extensive support for expats/STAs/permanent transfers/commuters such as set-up on On-Boarding, periodical performance review, tax filing, problem resolution etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For designated International Assignees, manage the assignment life cycle of company assignment types (Long Term Assignees, Short Term Assignees, Permanent Transfers, and Commuters)
  • Responsible for the operational aspects of mobility (e.g. production of ASR and bonus letters, assignment letters, maintenance of IA database). Responding to day-to-day mobility queries.
  • Ensure that new assignees in Europe receive the information and support required so that they can quickly become effective in their new role. Responsible for smooth repatriation / transfer to new location at the end of the assignment.
  • Support the annual salary review of International Assignees, liaising with Host Line Managers, Group HR and President / top management of the organisation to determine appropriate increases in line with organisation policy and individual performance.
  • Manage the annual review of the housing allowance set for all international assignees hosted in Europe, analysing specialist data and company affordability to determine making proposals for approval.
  • Liaise with Payroll teams, Local HR, HR Service Delivery team and our tax provider to ensure that the appropriate tax support is provided to all inbound assignees in line with Group policy and that International Assignees and company tax obligations are met in each European country. This requires liaison with Group HR to collate details of payments made in home location so that these can be correctly included in the tax submissions prepared by our tax provider. Work with Home HR to clarify and address any queries related to home payments raised by our tax provider / host tax authorities.
  • Act as HR Business Partner for IAs on assignment in Europe, working in conjunction with Line Managers, Local HR, Strategic HRBPs and Group HR to deal with complex and sensitively management of IA issues (for example career issues, health problems, child education, housing, company cars, etc.)
  • Identify and implement changes to processes to improve the efficiency of Mobility operations.

What you'll need to succeed
Graduate calibre with proven experience in mobility role in a global corporate environment. Broad and deep experience and knowledge of VISA and mobility related areas
