The HR Systems Manager will provide the strategic leadership and coordination for Workday maintenance and development working closely with the functional leads across POD, Payroll and Finance.  The role will therefore be required to work flexibly in a matrix reporting structure across a number of teams (including HR Shared Services, Recruitment, L&D, Finance, Payroll and IT).

In addition the postholder will also be responsible for managing the bi-annual Workday upgrades, ensuring that all functions are aware of the changes and to manage the appropriate system testing for all changes and updates.

You will have significant experience of developing and managing HR/Payroll or Finance systems as well as demonstrable experience of contract management of 3rd party providers. Outcome driven and resilient, you will have the ability to foster partnerships, work collaboratively across functional boundaries. Good organisation and project management skills and the ability to plan and manage conflicting priorities are also an essential part of this role.

The postholder can be based at one of our offices in London or Liverpool.

The salary for this post is £44,650.00 - £47,000.00 per annum. An additional £3,250.00 will be applicable if the postholder is based in London.

The closing date for this post is 16th September 2019

Telephone screenings will be held between the 9th and 18th September 2019

Interviews will be held on 24th and 27th September 2019

In return, you can expect some great benefits, including 25 days' annual leave which increases to 28 days after two year’s continuous employment plus statutory bank holidays and a contributory pension scheme after a qualifying period.
