Responsible for proactively planning and executing a development strategy that enhances the skills, knowledge and behaviours of all engineering and site-based employees, facilitating the achievement of business goals, and building the companies culture.

The Lead Learning Advisor will facilitate training programmes for all site-based employees and will collaborate with the wider L&D team to ensure that all health and safety /environmental training is adhered to within timescales and deadlines. The role will also be responsible for tracking and running training sessions, mapping out external training sessions (being the go-to contact) and ensure all training compliance is kept up to date for the London based team of 700.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluating all training initiatives to determine ways to improve the learning experience

Design, Development and Facilitation of training for site-based engineers

Monitoring and tracking training deadlines and update dates to ensure all Engineers are up to date in their training.

Writing materials, including participant workbooks, quick references, facilitator guides and presentation materials

Where appropriate, identify internal or external subject matter experts to deliver programmes

To provide employees with the skills and capabilities to deliver the business strategy

To ensure a cost effective, high quality learning experience

To identify new development opportunities in line with strategic goals

Providing specialized/personalized coaching and mentoring for Engineers/ Site Managers and Stakeholders

Work on special projects with HR team.

Establishing and managing quality standards for all programmes, products, and services

Enhancing all existing health and safety and environmental training initiatives, and advising on team and personal development solutions

Assist in the continuous updating and/or redesign of existing online training materials as well as training documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experienced within a fast-paced environment (essential)

Experience working with technical professionals i.e. engineers (highly desirable)
