Job Details


Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, Contract Logistics and working closely with the HRM community across the wider Business, you will support key HR transitions and improvement programmes across the network.

The role will liaise with multiple key stakeholders in the business including Senior HR, Operational teams, Functional HR Teams, colleagues and Support Functions so the requirement for working collaboratively is vital.

Description


  •  Act as the subject matter expert for internal contacts to advise on Operational HR considerations for any proposed project (either business led or HR led) e.g. resource considerations, employee relations, internal policies and procedures

  •  Offer insight to the senior HR team on opportunities to innovate and streamline the way we work in order to drive efficiency and improve delivery against the People Agenda.

  •  Keep up to date with current legislation to ensure that our policies and procedures reflect these - and that we adopt best practise approach to ensure compliance at all times.

  •  Undertake research and provide recommendations for HR initiatives that support our strategy e.g. new contracts.
     Deliver HR Operational projects as required by the business.

  •  Work with the Central HR Teams to develop and collate data for HR reporting across the Business including any enhancements to reporting that will help manage trends and improve data accuracy.

  •  Oversee the coordination and reporting of Employee Survey responses, identifying trends and proposing recommendations and for action and improvement.

  •  Support the Head of HR with Trade Union forums and the maintenance of the National Agreement.

Profile

  • Experience in a HR Manager role, ideally within a logistics, retail or manufacturing environment.

  •  Passion for working with data and people

  •  Desire to constantly improve insights to enable leaders to make the right decisions at the right time, to continuously improve the way we lead and support the People Agenda

  •  Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, analytics, tools and resources

  •  Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity

  •  Experience in building people data, both internally and externally, to influence key stakeholders and drive the people agenda

  •  Up to date knowledge of Employment Law and best practice.

  •  CIPD qualified.
