Do you have considerable experience of using a HR information system (we use CoreHR) in a ‘system admin’ role, as well as to analyse and present management information and troubleshoot issues? Then join Shelter as a HRIS Analyst and you could soon be responsible for managing Shelter’s Human Resources Information System – Core HR.

A home is a fundamental human need, as essential as education or healthcare. Yet millions of people across Britain struggle on a daily basis with homelessness, bad housing conditions, soaring rents, discrimination and the threat of eviction. So, we are striving for change — with individuals, in communities, across society – and leading the way to a safe home. We need ambitious, best-in-class individuals who are passionate about our cause to join us at this exciting time. This is your chance to play a part in the fundamental change we are striving to achieve.

About the role
Our 30 strong People Directorate is made of three key teams - People Operations, Employee Relations and Learning and Organisational Development. This particular role is an integral part of People Operations, a team that plays a key role in helping steer the Directorate’s plans to support the organisational capacity, capability and culture of our workforce of around 1,400 employees. The HRIS we use, CoreHR, is a key enabler of this, and we want you to manage and oversee it. As well as developing, implementing and modifying the system to meet organisational requirements, we’ll rely on you to promote the use of Insights reporting to the business to support operational efficiency for managers across Shelter. You’ll also work closely with Payroll to ensure that information within CoreHR supports this critical activity. And, when it comes to providing systems support to users organisation wide, again, we’ll count on you.

About you
To succeed, you’ll need to be commercially aware, results-driven and know your way around CoreHR. We’ll also be looking for a proven ability to interpret and present management information and data to a variety of key stakeholders. Someone who’s able to apply creative and lateral thinking to organisationsal issues, you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and suggest new ideas either. What’s more, you have the communication skills to work collaboratively and quickly build a network of good relationships, respond positively to change and are happy to act as the local expert and share your knowledge of all things CoreHR.

Benefits
We offer a wide range of benefits, including 30 days of annual leave, enhanced family friendly policies, pension and interest free travel loans. Our employees also have access to a tenancy deposit loan, cycle to work scheme and an employee assistance programme.

Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through our advice, support and legal services. And we campaign to make sure that, one day, no one will have to turn to us for help. We’re here so no one has to fight bad housing or homelessness on their own.
