Ashley Kate are delighted to be partnering with a national client who sit within the food manufacturing sector and are now looking to appoint a new HR Manager for their site in Preston.
You will be reporting into a Group HR Manager and will lead a team of five supporting a headcount of circa seven. This site operates of a 24/7 shift pattern and whilst your role will follow an 8.30-5pm working pattern, there is a degree of flexibility required from the HR function to support the workforce throughout this extended period.
This is a Unionised environment requiring a strong and experienced HR Manager who is already operating at this level and has established skills as a HR Manager within the Food sector. As such, you will be used to working to regular audits from external bodies and meeting industry approved standards.
In order to succeed in this role you will have proven skills in managing change within business particularly in the area of culture change. You will be working as part of a new and enthusiastic team but you will need to establish yourself quickly therefore stakeholder relationships will be key in order to implement the required changes.
You will also have strong experience of working with senior leaders to develop their mindsets and skillsets within the business supporting in the delivery of change management.
You will work closely with the Group HR Manager who will be a key driver on all strategic HR projects to help this site evolve and they are keen to have a like-minded HR Manager on board who is driven by results.
