As well has helping the business to hire great talent across 17 countries within Europe, you will get to help influence and develop how things are done from a recruitment perspective. This will not be a boring role!

What will be keeping you busy?
You will recruit across Europe. They currently have 100 open positions across corporate functions that will need to be filled with a mixture of direct sourcing and some agency support.
Your role will include identifying requirements by partnering closely with the business. You will select advertising partners and establish a list of trusted and cost effective recruitment agencies. You will work hard to reduce agency spend and focus predominantly on direct sourcing initiatives as time goes on.
You will work closely with your key stakeholders across these countries to share best practices, candidate assessment evaluations, scorecards, and sourcing strategies.
You will build effective local networks, talent pools, and relationships to maintain a strong pipeline of top talent. Getting the right people into the business is key and accurately evaluating candidates based on purpose and values alignment, and core success criteria will be fundamental to ensuring that hires are successful.
You will be expected to get as much value as possible from suppliers and source as many roles directly as is feasible. Part of this business’ success stems from it’s ability to reduce it’s costs and this applies to recruitment. We often find that tighter budgets encourage creativity and this is why we are looking for someone that will be creative in their approach to hiring great talent for our client without a high agency spend.
Who are we looking for?
Ultimately we want a generalist talent acquisition specialist with experience of recruiting across Europe. We don’t just want to see someone that has hired across one or two countries as the client needs real breadth of experience across different locations. You will be happy to roll your sleeves up and recruit with an ability to manage a number of roles at any one time.
Talent acquisition processes are extremely limited here at the moment. To this end, you will be someone that is comfortable with an initially high level of ambiguity. You will come armed with a strong recruiting toolbox and be able to show the business what good looks like and put effective process in place for them. If you have had some exposure to organisation design projects that would be a bonus but this is not an essential requirement at all.
You are a connector, a proactive pipeline builder, a lover of hyper-growth, social media, and technology. You are looking for a role where you are executing on recruitment initiatives, actualising sourcing strategies, driving consistent structured interview processes while helping hire talented values aligned people for the organisation. Candidate experience is important. Culture is important. Quality is important. Ego is not.
Industry experience is not required but we would like to see people that have experience of using the Workday ATS or one that is very similar. If you also have experience of managing psychometrics that would be a bonus. The company uses PLI and PI. You don’t need to have experience of those as they can train you to deliver them but if you do, that would be a bonus.
You will have over 5 years of full cycle recruitment experience ideally recruiting for head office roles. You enjoy working autonomously, but also within a diverse high performing team that moves at light speed.
