HR Business Partner

This a HRBP role for those who enjoy variety. For those who like taking ownership of different projects. Currently the business is involved with existing and future acquisitions; collaborating with L&D on a new e-learning approach and involved with coaching managers on more complex ER cases. There is a strong emphasis on coaching and guiding their populations. Their style and approach of HR is one of putting the manager in the driving seat.

The business is a retail business that started as a modest retailer. Always profitable, financially strong and physical growth has always been steady. Following a change in the high street, they positioned themselves to pick up where others had struggled. They have always been a step ahead with e-commerce and worked in close partnership with that big—online-company we all use! So when the crowds shop from home they were also just a click away.

In recent years they have acquired another much loved high street brand, and also set up a small manufacturing arm based in the UK and also Hong Kong. This has also seen steady growth with supply to their existing brands across the group but now also to external customers.

Their core business is retail with a Nationwide spread of stores, but this role will have a lot of focus on group activities so this isn’t a role that requires a lot of travel.

Now it may sound cheesy, but they are a fun bunch. They don’t take themselves too seriously, and are a real people centric business. They gel well together as a team and are well respected within the business.

The successful candidate will have operated as a HRBP within a group environment, will have strong experience of projects, and will be minimum of CIPD level 5.
