A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this leading global bank as a Regional Head of Payroll Governance - EMEA & Americas.

The Opportunity
Working as part of the global payroll leadership team, this role will be an integral part of the team and you will contribute to the ongoing development of the global payroll strategy, governance and control framework.

The Role
Reporting into the Global Head this role will play a key part into the growth and quality of how operations run across the EMEA and Americas landscape. This will include Global Payroll Governance & Reporting Standards, Risk & Control Framework and Key Performance & Risk Indicators.

Key Accountabilities
*Responsible for all the countries in the region, for implementation and adherence to the global payroll strategy. This will include Governance & Reporting Standards, Risk & Control Framework and Key Performance and Risk Indicators.
*Indirect management of all Country Heads of Payroll across the region and liaison with key stakeholders.
*Own the third-party vendor management cycle outright so that strong relationships are built and standards are set out from the outset.
*Push major initiatives within the business and the payroll function.
*Work closely with the HR function, to deliver multiple payroll projects.

Qualifications and Experience:
*Detailed operational knowledge of payroll.
*Experience of managing an international team.
*Experience of SAP is essential as is a deep understanding of operational risk.
*Extensive experience of delivering major international initiatives.
*Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
*Knowledge of LEAN and change management on a global level is advantageous
*Vendor management experience.
