The Opportunity

An established Wealth Management organisation in the City of London has an urgent need for a HR Generalist. This is a fixed term position until the end of 2019, possibly longer.

You will be first point of contact to the business regarding HR related queries, managing and completing daily HR work and administration. Manage and support ad-hoc HR projects as required and help the Head of HR where required.

The Detail

You will be an experienced HR Generalist with Financial Services experience.

Recruitment

Manage recruitment process from identification to completion across the business ensuring where possible that costs stay within the annual recruitment budget
Brief recruitment agencies and attend interviews where appropriate
Update email/letter/form templates to ensure correct branding and entity references are correct, and improve efficiency for the HR team.
Help the HR Adviser to advise and support staff/line managers with employment issues that arise, and escalate to Head of HR where required
Running with and or supporting cyclical and ad-hoc HR projects such as the appraisal process, vendor contract negotiation etc
Seek ways to improve the service, suggesting practical procedural changes and following these through to a successful conclusion where possible.
Communicate effectively to all key customers to demonstrate the function's performance whilst managing expectations and improving understanding.
Help the HR Assistant to complete general HR administration for joiners and leavers including onboarding, payroll instruction, performance management, FCA registration and holiday
you will provide high quality HR generalist coaching and advisory services to employees and business leaders

Skills and experience

You will be a strong HR generalist with UK experience in Financial Services - essential
Recent experience of working in a fast-paced organisation
You will need good written communication skills to be able to come in and help with BAU work
CIPD qualification or studying towards it.
Relevant UK experience is essential
