Employee Relations ManagerNewcastle - Northern RegionPermanent£40,000 - £45,000 Our client is looking for a ER Specialist to join their small ER team. This role will be home based with travel to Newcastle and Manchester. AS Employee Relations Manager you will support and partner line managers by providing advice and guidance on all people related matters and policy.You must have worked within an ER Manager position previously and be used to delivering high level operational advice and guidance to stakeholders and used to working high volumes around absence, grievance, organisational change and TUPE. Role Duties: Delivering high-level, non-routine operational advice and guidance to stakeholders and functions of the group across the full range of HR issues, including absence, discipline, grievance, organisational change, TUPEAdvice to managers on the interpretation of policy on matters such as recruitment, equal opportunities, retirement, and medical capability. Work collaboratively with the HR Business Partner team and line managers on the case management of individual complex, high risk and sensitive cases. Supporting line managers with reading, interpreting and assessment of medical and Occupational Health reports. Communicating and ensure understanding by the wider Human Resources team, line managers and employees of changes to relevant laws and regulations. Continuously reviewing and update HR paperwork and templates to be statutorily compliant and ensuring that all documentation associated with potential dismissal is reviewed by the ER team prior to issue.
