HR Advisor

I have partnered with a rapidly growing construction brand in south west London, in their search for an HR Advisor.

This is a maternity cover for 12 months, due to start in November 2019.

Working closely with the HR Director, your role will very much have a generalist remit to it. This will allow you to get involved with comp & bens, payroll, recruitment, employee engagement, ER, and L&D.

You will be one of the main HR points of contact, allowing you to advise managers and employees on best practice, policies, and procedures. This will be great for building relationships and senior stakeholder management.

You will also be supporting with recruitment: reviewing budgets, compliance, developing job descriptions, interviewing candidates, and liaising with agencies. Actually being involved in the interview process is a great way to increase HR visibility within the organisation, so this will be a great devleopment opportunity.

With ER, you will be managing maternity and paternity processes, dealing with flexible working requests, absence cases, and Occupational Health when need be. This will allow you to build on your UK employment law knowledge and also manage cases independently.

There will also be onboarding, offboarding, pre-employment checks, processing monthly payroll, and managing benefits - so there is plenty to do in such a varied role!
