HR Adviser

A world leading Professional Services business are looking for an HR Advisor to join their team. Reporting into the HR Manager, this role will act as the key contact for a specific client group and will proactively deliver HR services to the client group. As the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:

Acting as an advisor for client group employees and working closely to understand how HR can support their people

Lead on day-to-day HR operations of client group with support from HR Manager

Acting as first point of contact for client group employees in relation to HR issues

Providing guidance and support to ensure all employee issues are resolved

Monitoring and managing all sickness absence with guidance from HR Manager

Supporting the shared service team with managing maternity/paternity/shared parental leave

Conducting exit interviews and communicating feedback to appropriate people

Managing all flexible working requests

Overseeing the probation review process and new joiner referencing process

Assisting HR Manager with providing guidance and supporting line managers with redundancies and restructures

Assisting relevant departments with the implementation of policies and practices regarding employment law

Liaising with recruitment managers to advise of any resourcing needs

Assisting to manage apprenticeships

Assisting with inbound and outbound international secondments and liaising with international mobility and tax teams on any complex queries

Coordinating the delivery and communications of performance management process with support from HR Manager

Supporting managers with performance improvement plans

Lead talent review discussions with senior management

Assisting with salary and bonus review processes alongside Reward team

Promoting learning and development options with line managers to ensure development needs are identified

Arranging coaching where needed

Assisting and leading small scale projects

As the HR Advisor, you will possess:

Minimum of 2 years generalist experience at advisor level, preferably within professional services

Good understanding of current employment legislation

Good knowledge of employee relations process

Strong MS Office skills
