This is an exciting time to be joining this organisation as you will have responsibility the delivery of new leadership development and training programmes, working closely with our external suppliers, along with driving internal applications nationally and talent pooling future leaders.

Description

The key priorities of this role is to :

  • Designing and managing the Development and Support Programme for members including leadership, mentorship, patient and public involvement training and additional career and personal development interventions

  • Working with the Communications Manager and team to support Academy members through a programme of career development engagement activities

  • Managing the effective delivery of the Mentorship and Leadership programmes, including the procurement and contract management of suppliers to provide associated workstreams.

  • Advise on content for webinars, online engagement activities and workshop provision for Academy members

  • Work with the Business Manager and Academy Executive Board Team to implement learning and development support for Executive staff

  • Supporting the Academy's Senior Leadership Team in ensuring strategy around development and support is implemented effectively and with the appropriate governance and reporting arrangements

Profile

The ideal candidate will bring new ideas and have a strong understanding of leadership development, coaching and have the confidence to work with senior stakeholders to co-ordinate national senior leadership programmes.

You will have significant experience in managing complex projects with a range of high profile stakeholders and will have worked with external suppliers to ensure that programmes are effectively planned, communicated, implemented and evaluated.

Experience and understanding of delivering professional development programmes is essential, alongside highly effective communication skills including report writing and influencing stakeholders.

Job Offer

£37,500 - £43,500 depending on experience + benefits + agile working
