L&D Specialist - Future Talent

 

International Transport Service

 

3 month FTC

 

Central London

 

£45,000 - £50,000

 

 

My client are an international transport provider; they require a L&D specialist to join them on an FTC basis until the end of the year.

 

 

The L&D specialist is responsible for managing the graduate and apprenticeship programmes and to develop their future strategy. They will do this in partnership with senior stakeholders and in line with business needs. This role will also be responsible for the training delivery of their manager development programme.

 

 

Duties will include but are not limited to:

 

 

Project manage the end to end delivery of the graduates and apprentice programmes in collaboration with the business

 

Work with the resourcing team to design and deliver a selection and assessment strategy to identify quality candidates that match their workforce profile

 

Work with the resourcing team to build relationships with local schools, colleges, universities and local government employability officers, to increase awareness and promote the programme

 

Work with line managers to ensure the future talent programme is set up for success; hosting and delivering briefings, organising additional training's and providing support

 

Deliver the manager development programme to build capability and readiness for individuals first management role

 

Ensure the content of the manager programme is updated and relevant, suggest improvements to content and support all participants through the programme

 

Manage the apprenticeship levy spend

 

 

Skills/Experience:

 

You will have experience in both graduate recruitment and L&D

 

Previous experience in delivering training programmes

 

Good relationship management with internal and external clients

 

Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken

 

 

As this is a FTC role until the end of the year, you must be able to start immediately to be considered.
