Macmillan Davies are partnering this leading UK multi-site Organisation based in Wigan in their search for a Payroll Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Payroll Manager with real scope to develop into a Head of HR Shared Services in the future.
The role will take managerial responsibility for a small team and manage the UK payroll for circa 1000 headcount.
Reporting to the HR Director you will be an effective, customer facing payroll specialist who is ready to go into the business and manage stakeholders effectively. There are improvements to be made, most notably reliable and accurate people data alongside system improvements. We are looking for somebody keen to influence and make positive change whilst ensuring a seamless payroll service.
Longer term, the Business are looking to develop a HR Shared Service model and this role would be a natural progression into that position.
Naturally we are looking a suitably qualified, system savvy Payroll Manager who is looking for a challenging but rewarding role in a very people focused business.
