ER Advisor

Immediate start

Great new role working with a well-established organisation based in Reading.

The Employee Relations Advisor will provide first line advice and support to staff as well as managers on all HR related matters. You will provide an extensive level of employment law and HR advice to on a wide range of HR issues including grievances, disputes, and disciplinary hearings as well as advice on employment policy and practice in connection with organisational change, TUPE, and performance.

Staff at this level will have the following knowledge and skills:

Have a detailed knowledge of key areas of employment law

Provide research and advice to managers on complex issues.

Take part in briefings and induction sessions including the preparation of material as well as describing the role and function of the HR service.

Handle and conclude case work including disciplinary, capability and organisational change.

Be involved in bringing industrial relation issues to a successful conclusion

To assist the Head of HR with HR related projects.
