A well known Global Consultancy Business are currently looking for an experienced Senior Instructional Designer to join their client facing team.

This role will work closely with subject matter leads to facilitate and design effective, creative and high-quality learning deliverables for a large external client.

Responsibilities & tasks

  • Provide expert consultation on learning techniques, instructional design theory and digital technology solutions for eLearning and classroom
  • Liaise and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders to design high quality learning experiences
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to create effective and engaging content designs
  • Design relevant content including all materials for classroom solutions, storyboards and scripts for digital production which promote ease-of-use and accessibility of content
  • Leverage data to effectively evaluate the behavioural and business impact of learning solutions proposed
  • Apply relevant learning design and instructional design theory to ensure a robust design approach

Person specification, qualifications and experience

  • Instructional/curriculum design qualification with a high level of technical and creative design knowledge
  • Significant experience of working in an instructional design role, designing learning solutions
  • Experience of developing blended and digital learning solutions, including video and mobile learning, with a track record of writing and creating digital learning storyboards and audio scripts
  • Knowledge of Articulate 360, Evolve, Gomo, Lectora Captivate
  • Excellent written communication skills with an ability to write effective instructional text
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
