A FTSE 100 company and highly well-known trade specialist merchant in North Yorkshire. Working in a new role in the HR Shared Service Centre, you will play a pivotal role in the success and development of the HR Admin team.
Your new role
As the HR Administration Manager you will manage the HR administration team of 5 as part of a wider HR Shared Service centre. This is a hands on job, being responsible for the successful delivery of HR administration for the business in line with agreed SOP and SLAs. You will lead and manage the team, managing resources and planning workload effectively. You will be responsible for all training and development needs of your team, including upskilling where needed and carrying out appraisals and performance reviews. You will constantly look at how improvements can be made in the shared service centre processes, being proactive and forward thinking, able to review process and inspire change where necessary.
Salary up to £33,000 per annum plus bonus and great benefits.
The ideal candidate will have supervised a small team previously, and be fully au fait with HR admin processes and the administration of the full employee lifecycle. We are especially interested in applicants who have worked in a Shared Service Centre environment before, ideally in a HR capacity.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who has been an Admin Supervisor or Administration Team Leader and who is looking for their first step into a Management job within Human Resources. You would have support from a Senior HR Manager and the opportunity internally for further career development.
