This role ideally can be 3 or 4 days a week depending on the experience and requirement of the candidate.

Principle duties:
* Manage all aspects of the HR function, including oversight of an outsourced payroll, employee benefit trust, defined benefit pension scheme, contributory pension scheme and other employee benefits
* To ensure the legal and regulatory compliance of HR at all times. To remain up to date with best practice, anticipate changes in the law and reflect in policy/working practices as appropriate
* Oversee annual appraisal activities and contribute to annual compensation review, including research into the compensation practices of competitors and input into strategic aspects of remuneration
* Oversee and support sound employee relations practices, providing direct support as required to members of executive management and department heads
* Provide strategic input and co-ordinate all recruitment activities, participate in the interview process for all new staff
* Develop training policies across a business with highly disparate training requirements
* Establish and conduct an employee survey
* Oversee the administration of the defined benefit pension scheme (closed to new entrants and new accruals)
