You will work closely with directorates, taking a hands-on approach, to ensure you understand their needs and how you can support them to deliver high quality services for the people of St Helena. You must be passionate about the difference good HR can make and have the ability to articulate this to a wide range of stakeholders.
Educated to Degree level or equivalent in HR Management or Organisational Development, you are Chartered MCIPD or Chartered FCIPD qualified or equivalent, with a solid background in Employee Relations and Employee Development issues. Experienced in managing change through the project management cycle, you have a thorough understanding of process improvement and operational transformation programmes.
We offer an extensive benefits package with 30 days leave pa, fare paid travel, freight, pension contribution and relocation allowance (see overseas vacancy information). An application form can be found at www.sthelenacareers.co.uk where further information can also be found, or you may contact Kedell Worboys on 0203 818 7610 or email: shgukrep@sthelenagov.com. For an informal chat about the role please email Director of HR and Organisational Development, Lindsay Shankland at recruitment@sainthelena.gov.sh to arrange.
In order to apply please submit application forms to recruitment@sainthelena.gov.sh by the closing date of 17 October 2019. Interviews will be held in London.
Due to the potential for high numbers of applications, if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of the closing date you should assume you have not been short listed. We would like to thank you for your interest in working for the St Helena Government.
