Fyte HR are delighted to be working with this fantastic brand in Surrey to recruit a Head of Learning and Development to join them on a 6-12 month FTC (Maternity cover). The salary offered is up to £60,000pa FTE or equivalent day rate - this a part-time role 4 days per week. Acting as the Head of Learning and Development, this individual will be responsible for working with HR colleagues to ensure the business continues to attract, retain and inspire world class talent by implementing creative and effective interventions that inspire learning in the employee population. This role will focus on driving management development, working with suppliers and building relationships to drive forward the L&D agenda.
Principal Accountabilities:
The Head of L&D will partner with the business to drive the overall L&D stagey with a key focus on management development, ensuing learning solutions meet business needs and are in line with a modern technology business
Supporting the HR teams in developing and embedding effective and structured business focused approaches to development through segmenting employee populations and focusing on identified needs from robust data sources
Advising on, sourcing and co-developing high quality development programmes for senior level talent
Continuing to build and evolve the Learning Campus platform to provide a compelling range of content for the diverse population, consistent with a modern technology business.
Execute the wider L&D Strategy through implementing learning initiatives to drive employee development
Ensuring the business maximises innovative technology and digital/social media channels to present a compelling career proposition both to external candidates seeking to join us and current employees building a career.
Ensuring uptake and employee engagement for all learning programmes by running learning and development campaigns and sessions across the business contributing to a shift in mind-set on modern learning
Continue relationships with local schools to drive our local outreach programme through the Work Inspiration Event to support local talent pipelines

Essential Requirements:
Demonstrable commitment to personal development
Demonstrable experience working successfully with both engineering and manufacturing populations and similar high challenge populations
Recent experience of delivering successful modern and creative approaches to learning
High levels of personal resilience and confidence in an environment with VUCA characteristics
Experience of working in a growing business dealing with significant change
Experience of building credible relationships at senior level
Commercially minded and future focused
