A resilient HR Co-ordinator to join a rapidly expanding marine engineering consultancy in Southampton.

Your new company

My client are a leading independent marine engineering design and naval architecture consultancy providing services for specialised/advanced vessels. The company work from initial concept through to detailed design and production. They have an established record in the design of Commercial, Yachts, Defence Vessels and Offshore Energy.

The business utilise state of the art technology to provide innovative solutions and consultancy services that are tailored to the individual requirements of owners, shipyards and operators worldwide.

Your new role

Following the rapid growth and expansion of the company, the HR Co-ordinator / Junior Advisor is a new role to the business, reporting to the HR Business Partner and with support from the HR Projects Lead. The HR Business Partner will assist with Employee Relations (ER) case work and more complex general HR issues.

This is a stand alone role and customer facing, so working well independently and communicating effectively will be important.

Main purpose:
Supporting the HR Business Partner, you will contribute to the delivery of high quality service across all areas of HR, providing an outstanding service and administrative support to the business. Some experience of recruitment and a sound knowledge of payroll processes will also be an advantage.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be a confident person who can work on your own initiative, with excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.

You must have previous experience in a HR role with a CIPD Level 3 qualification (minimum). It will be an advantage if you have worked in an engineering environment, but other sectors will be considered.

What you'll get in return
