Description

Key responsibilities include;

- through an HR business partnering approach, you will provide a proactive HR Advisory service to departments and to support leaders and managers in development and implentation of people strategies

- to ensure that relevant HR issues are being addressed within departments, in accordance with employment legislation and policies and procedures

- ensure that standard contracts of employment conform to, and are issued, in accordance with employment legislation

- oversee production and distribution of management information to enable leaders and managers to make informed decisions

- co-ordinate with the HR systems officer to ensure information held is accurate

Profile

The successful candidate;

- educated to degree level or equivalent subject area

- updated knowledge of current employment legislation

- demonstratable commitment to continuous professional development

- knowledge of HR policies, procedures and initiatives eg, attendance, grievance, equal opportunities etc

- knowledge of disclosure scotland provisions
