Oakleaf Partnership are pleased to be working with a leading, global law firm on a permanent HR Advisor vacancy. Based in the City of London, this is a key role for the business helping to support the HR team to provide a high level of both HR operational support and HR advice to a specific client group.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Supporting employees on day-to-day HR issues and advising staff on policies and procedures

Monitoring and reporting on sickness absence

Providing support to secondees

Meeting new joiners, following up with them and conducting probation reviews

Conducting exit interviews, collating stats and reporting on exit information

Providing adhoc support to the Graduate Recruitment team, the HR Managers and Reward Manager as and when needed

Providing administrative support to the HR Managers on key management processes

Providing monthly and ad hoc reports on data as required and providing analysis as appropriate

As required, support the Resourcing team and Group Managers on recruitment

Involvement in performance improvement plans where appropriate

Assisting the HR Mangers in providing advice and support to managers on ER matters

The ideal candidate will be/have:

Proven HR experience

Graduate calibre, ideally CIPD qualified or similar certification

Can demonstrate strong relationship building and influencing skills

Good knowledge of current employment law particularly in relation to performance management and absence management

Experience of working with HR systems (PeopleSoft ideally)

Ability to be flexible and work across a wide range of client groups

Excellent attention to detail, prioritisation and organisational skills

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Resilient, a collaborative team player and have proven ability to work well under pressure

A 'can do' attitude and is pro-active and professional in all client contact
