My client are a leading FMCG business with a highly successful portfolio of brands. Due to continued success they now have a requirement for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their head office based team in Staffordshire.

Your new role

• As HR Business Partner, you will work in close collaboration with the HR Director and other HR Business Partners and local senior management to help devise and implement a people plan for leaders and teams within the business.
• Partnering key stakeholders across the business, supporting and facilitating the creation of a high-performance culture, employee engagement, succession planning, talent attraction and retention, and open communication
• Provide expert advice to line management on employment related queries, including performance, grievance and disciplinary matters.
• Work closely with Operational, Commercial and Support Teams to deliver key people related priorities in line with the UK business plan.
• In close collaboration with UK HR colleagues, support and drive the standardisation of pan-UK people policies and procedures.

• Assist with organisation design matters and any business restructuring that may arise, ensuring same are handled sensitively and appropriately.

• Produce a variety of statistical people information and HR reports for management meetings and presentations.
• Lead and guide local HR team members on any relevant people matters or projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• The successful candidate will have a relevant HR degree or post-graduate qualification.
• Extensive post-qualification experience in a HR/people environment.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills with a track record of providing HR partnership to business leaders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a strong customer service focus and attitude.
• Skilled in a variety of HR practices, including: talent acquisition and retention, employee engagement, employee relations, talent development, organisation design.
• Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential, while experience of Success Factors HRIS is desirable.
• A strong role model of the values and behaviours - with heart, with thought, with vision and with drive.
• Strong people leadership skills and associated track-record, with a clear commitment to developing talent.
