Permanent Senior HR Consultant role based in Manchester paying up to £43k + flexible working

Your new company
I am recruiting for a large multi-billion-pound manufacturing business based in Manchester. Due to continuous growth, my client is looking for a candidate to join the HR team as a Senior HR Consultant offering a fantastic opportunity for career progression.

Your new role
Working alongside an established HR team and Reporting directly to the Group HR manager, you will provide support to approx. 500 employees across multi sites based across Manchester and 1 site based in north Lancashire. You will work closely with HR Manchester and support with implementing business plans as well as organisation development & design. You will support all employees across the sites & central services in all employee relations matters and provide advice on best practice on company policy/procedures. This role will work closely with senior managers & stakeholders to deliver high-quality HR service Key responsibilities will include upskilling line managers, coordinating talent & succession reviews, supporting with redundancy situations and coordinating ongoing projects such as employee engagement & Well-being. What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have 3+ years' experience in a HR generalist role ideally within a fast-paced blue-collar type industry. You will have experience of working within a high change environment and ideally be able to demonstrate supporting with restructures. Experience of working within a unionised environment would also be ideal but not essential. The successful candidate will be ambitious, resilient and be able to build a rapport quickly with all levels of employees. You must also be happy to travel to the north Lancashire site frequently. Also, management experience within a HR team is essential
