A professional HR Administrator to join a leading provider of skills to port operators in the UK (Southampton)

My client are a leading provider of specialist skills and services to port operators in the UK, with decades of experience and a strong local brand. Their personnel are trained to meet their customer requirements and are available on a temporary or permanent basis.
Your new role
As HR Administrator, you will report to a HR Advisor with no direct reports. This is a people facing HR role working within a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity if you would like to work in a challenging, varied role that will enable you to grow your skills. Working hours: 37.5, Monday-Friday.
Main purpose of the role:
To provide effective and efficient administrative/operational support to the HR and Operations Departments. You may be provided to undertake additional operational/practical duties in the absence of members of the wider HR team.
Responsibilities include administration relating to:
- Recruitment & selection
- Employee Relations
- Occupational Health referrals, probationary reviews etc
- General meetings as well as assisting the HR team with ad hoc projects as required
- General administrative tasks and updating/managing the HR Database
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a confident person with a CIPD Level 3 qualification and experience of working as a HR Administrator within a HR Function, but other administrative backgrounds could be considered.
You must be able to communicate well at all levels of business, be highly organised and possess strong IT skills.
