My client is a media planning and buying agency in central London, with a headcount of under 100. They have a permanent job vacancy for a HR Manager, reporting to CEO. This is a stand alone role where you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver all aspects of people management. Key activities include:

Recruitment & Induction

  • Design and implement the optimal recruitment strategy across the business to attract the best talent
  • Manage the recruitment process and ensure a consistent and professional approach to recruiting staff
  • Manage relationships with recruitment partners to deliver cost effective recruitment solutions
  • Ensure all new staff have an employment contract and comprehensive induction programme
  • Manage employee records using cloud based HR system
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of employment legislation
  • Drive high performance in the business by ensuring objectives are set for employees and measured in a

consistent way

  • Support line managers in providing feedback and addressing performance issues in a timely manner


  • Manage training and development budget
  • Design and deliver high quality training and development solutions
  • Develop a succession plan with the senior leadership team to retain best talent and plan for the future

Reward & Recognition

  • Compensation and benefits - liaise with FD & CEO to implement Agency strategy
  • Liaise with FC to prepare payroll on a monthly basis


  • Managing day-to-day aspects of the property
  • Line manage Office Co-ordinator
  • Conduct exit interviews and collate results in order to improve the experience of employees
  • Provide wellbeing solutions for staff
