Location: Midlands Based - UK Wide Travel
Job Type: Permanent - Full Time
Our client a leading healthcare provider is looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to work on a full time permanent basis driving a mobile screening unit to different client sites across the UK. You will be Midlands based but happy to travel to client sites across the UK and stay away from home regularly. The role will involve the provision of health assessment and health surveillance programmes for a variety of clients throughout the UK providing an efficient an effective service to clients.  Please note that for this role Full-training provided - Technicians are required to demonstrate competency in the performance of a wide variety of screening tests and techniques, including the following:
• Height, weight, abdominal circumference and calculation of BMI
• Blood pressure
• Spirometry, Audiometry & Otoscopy
• Urinalysis
• Vision Testing
• Cholesterol Testing
• Use of Cardiovascular Risk Assessor
• Mobility & Musculoskeletal Assessment
• Skin Health Surveillance and HAVS Health Surveillance

37.5 hours a week between Monday - Friday (8:30-16:30)
Nationwide travel across the UK. Monday – Friday.  Due to the mobile nature of the role candidates will be away from home between Monday – Friday.  
To apply you will hold a clean UK driving licence, ideally have previous experience of working in Health Surveillance, be professional, open, flexible, approach with excellent communication and diary/time management skills. As they will provide training they are looking for candidates with a background in the Health and Fitness Industry, Army Physical Training Instructor, BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science, Diploma Health, Gym Instructor Level 2
Clean UK Driving Licence required
