Who we’re looking forWe’re looking for an internal communications and engagement manager to join our UK Sales and Marketing Special Operations team, reporting to the Sales and Marketing COO.

The PwC Sales and Marketing team is a centralised function that covers all aspects of professional services marketing, brand, campaigns, client experience, sales support and business development. The prime area of focus for Sales and Marketing is to work with and amplify our client-facing teams in developing and implementing the firm’s go-to-market strategy.

  • About the roleThe purpose of the role is to design, develop and execute the internal communications and engagement strategy for Sales and Marketing, by educating and informing all colleagues across the team, as well as stakeholders across other business areas in client-facing teams, on the function's purpose, capabilities, ongoing transformation, and value and impact it delivers.

    Role responsibilities:

  • Developing an engagement plan for key stakeholder groups (both into the Sales and Marketing function and into client-facing teams)
  • Executing communications and internal marketing campaigns into key stakeholder groups across a variety of channels (enabled by G-Suite and Marketing Cloud)
  • Developing strong relationships with Corporate Affairs to proactively profile Sales and Marketing’s story (eg: how we’re transforming; how we’re adding value and impact; how we’re helping our people get closer to our clients, how we’re driving key programmes across the firm (e.g. PCP, Client feedback, Brand)
  • Keep evolving our Sales and Marketing Google Site and ways of engaging across our stakeholders
  • Ensure all Sales and Marketing owned content is kept up to date across the function (knowledge/content lifecycle management)
  • Ensure our Sales and Marketing guiding principles are brought to life and embedded in all communications and linked to all appropriate activities
  • Use Marketing Cloud to build and execute email campaigns, test and learn across activities and optimise to improve performance (Marketing Cloud training will be provided if required)
  • Track engagement data and report on progress across channels, including using Marketing Cloud’s Analytics Studio.
  • Role Requirements - the ideal applicant will:

  • have a good understanding of how to bring creative ideas and the right channel mix together to engage a target audience
  • have a mind-set which demonstrates a comfort with trying new things and learning
  • be self motivated and a strong communicator who is able to act on their own initiative to develop content from scratch
  • be confident with and/or avid to learn new technologies (G Suite, Marketing Cloud)
  • have a strong knowledge (or willingness to learn) of how to best activate the PwC brand across different channels
  • be a team player, who is able to work collaboratively, virtually and independently with people across Sales and Marketing, and Corporate Affairs to maximise impact
  • have strong organisational and project management skills and attention to detail, plus a commitment to delivering the highest quality output
