HR Officer, HR (General)

You will be responsible for delivering the full spectrum of human resources activity, including administering payroll and contractual changes, advising on terms and conditions, organising and taking minutes at discipline and grievance hearings and providing advice and guidance to staff and managers on a range of operational and policy issues.  These are busy roles in a fast-paced environment.

Your track record will be in a similar role where you have provided a first-class HR service to staff and managers.  You will possess a good knowledge of employment law, and a pragmatic approach to implementing HR policy and procedure. You will have exceptional communication skills, are diplomatic and understand the importance of confidentiality.

The HR&OD team supports the managers and staff of the GLA, including the Mayor of London and London Assembly, across the full spectrum of services including recruitment, employee relations, business partnering, HR policies, payroll, people systems, organisational development, diversity & inclusion and learning & development, and aims to lead by example across London.
