Use your passion, ambition and drive to help shape our Council as we go through major change. You will be able to get really stuck into meaty projects to embed the principles of the 21st Century Council Change programme and ensure that our current and future leaders have the necessary knowledge, experience and skill to optimise service delivery. Simply put it is about embedding change, developing our workforce and maximizing organisational effectiveness.
The newly formed Talent and Engagement team, as well as delivering the Corporate Learning Programme will focus on:
- Embedding culture change
- Delivery of our 2015 – 2020 People Strategy, which includes development of Talent Management and Workforce Management Frameworks
- Employee Engagement
You’ll ensure we are identifying, attracting, developing and retaining a workforce for the future - researching good practice, developing proposals and implementing programmes of change. CIPD or equivalent qualified, ideally with a focus on Organisational Development and Learning you will be able to quickly establish credibility with both a highly skilled and motivated team, and our client base. You must demonstrate resilience with an ability to manage high workloads.
This is a highly rewarding and hands on role with no 2 days being the same. We are looking for someone who is flexible in their approach, well as being able to design and deliver training, have significant experience of designing and implementing complex organisation and culture change and interventions with a proven track record in delivering successful projects/outcomes.
