Immediate start for a HR Coordinator on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Your new company

You will be working for a leading organisation in the not-for-profit sector based locally to Gloucester.

Your new role

Your new role as HR Coordinator will be to provide HR administration, support, advice and guidance to colleagues and managers with a key focus on learning and development.

You will be first point of contact for general HR and training queries from colleagues and line managers on employment matters, sickness, training, performance, grievances and personal issues. It will be your role to relay the organisations policies and procedures ensuring that they are adhered to.

You will be helping with recruitment, advertising job vacancies and monitoring applications. There will an element of HR administration including new starter paperwork, offer letters and contracts of employment. As well as onboarding, you will also be ensuring that the leaver process is undertaken, and resignations are acknowledged in writing and leaver forms are completed.

You will be co-ordinating and organising mandatory training and ensuring training records are kept up to date and being first point of contact for all training needs.

You will need to ensure that the HR system and HR records are kept up to date and in line with current legislations and policies and procedures. There will also be an expectation of compiling timely HR data i.e KPI reports, recruitment and training probation.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful for this role previous experience within a HR environment is needed. Good time management and strong administration skills are a necessity. This will be working within a busy environment within the not-for-profit sector therefore previous experience in this sector would be advantageous. Ideally you will also have studied up to CIPD level 3.
